QLD Poker Machine Tender #55 (Pubs) - Tender OPEN

The Qld Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation has opened the tender for the latest round of gaming authorities (last tender value in brackets), being:

• 72 South East ($465,929 - tender #54) – minimum acceptable price $400,157
  (last tender $369,431)
• 55 Coastal ($198,668 - tender #54) – minimum acceptable price $180,006
  (last tender $175,282)
• 9 Western ($133,125 - tender #54) – minimum acceptable price $81,332
  (last tender $44,417) 

Pub Authorities

This is the last tender with the reduced transfer fees (from 33% to 15%) and it seems to have flushed out good supply to the market with increases in all regions. Prices in past tenders seemingly on the increase but weakness in the Coastal Region last tender (only 31/47 sold) and record prices across all three regions may spell a top of the market, especially coupled with the increased supply.
