The Qld Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation has opened the tender for the latest round of gaming authorities (last tender and value in brackets), being:

  • NO MARKET South East ($197,937 in tender 47)
  • $122,516 Coastal (Up from $122,250 in tender 47 or 0.22%)
  • NO MARKET Western ($17,061 last value in tender 45)


Steady value Coastal region, in line with expectations and consistent with the increasing value of hospitality assets in a low interest rate environment. All authorities cleared in the region.

South East and Western regions no supply – with both regions only having 3 markets out of the last 6 tenders.

Strong performance of gaming across QLD definitely supporting values on gaming assets with increases in value of authorities in the last two years below:
