Arun is a Supervisor Accountant with over 10 years of combined experience across commercial environments and international professional accounting firms. A fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CAANZ) who completed his Australian tax paper with distinction, Arun recently brought his expertise to Brisbane after relocating from New Zealand.
His technical proficiency is grounded in managing the delivery of accounting and tax compliance services for clients across a diverse range of sectors. Arun is highly experienced in preparing and reviewing financial statements, as well as managing income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders. He routinely handles Business Activity Statements (BAS), management reporting, trust distributions, return of capital, and Division 7A compliance issues.
Arun’s background also features significant commercial experience, notably managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and board-level management reporting for a Crown Research Institute with a $115 million group turnover. This dual perspective allows him to provide strategic growth and structuring advice to privately-owned companies, while also identifying and implementing key system improvements.
Known for his strong people management and leadership skills, Arun is dedicated to mentoring junior staff, guiding global delivery teams, and acting as a central point of contact to ensure seamless client service.
